Supersize Your Candy

By April 9, 2007

Follow me on:

Most candy bars come in an array of standard sizes: Bite Size, Fun Size, Regular, and King Size. If you want more candy than a King Size provides, you're usually forced to buy multiple bars in order to assuage your cravings. The geniuses at Pimp That Snack, unsatisfied with the paltry commercial candy offerings, decided to take things a step further and make their own enormous versions of candy bars. Users from around the world contribute stories and pictures of their "pimping" projects in an ever-escalating quest to have the largest, most realistic, most delicious candy creation. Some of my favorites include the 16,000 calorie Snickers bar, the 5-pound Cadbury egg, and the 2-foot long Kit Kat bar. Although these projects are way more candy than I could ever eat, I love admiring the creativity and sheer audacity of some of the participants...and drooling over their results!

Mmm, pimped-out Jaffa Cakes. Not, perhaps, a high level of difficulty, but I love having my fond memories of those bizarre little cakes mega-sized to tooth-tinglingly cartoonish proportions… now if I only had some Marmite…
