Candied Citrus Peel

Tuesday May 1, 2007
Although we're leaving prime citrus season and heading into berry territory, there are still some great ways to use available citrus fruits. Try making Candied Citrus Peel, which can be made with orange, lemon, lime, or grapefruit rinds. The chewy, tangy-sweet peels are delicious plain, dipped in chocolate, or as additions to truffles, barks, and fudges. If you've never candied peel before, be sure to check out the step-by-step photo guide showing how to make candied peel.
