The profusion of Cadbury Creme Eggs in grocery stores has made me think about devising a home recipe for the famed Cadbury egg. Unfortunately, to actually produce the liquid center suspended in a chocolate egg, one would need miniature 3-D candy egg molds, which would be difficult for many people to obtain. So I settled for a firmer fondant candy that retained the characteristic yolk-and-white interior. Fondant Easter Eggs are a smooth, vanilla cream candy that looks like--you guessed it!--an egg on the inside. It's dipped in semi-sweet or dark chocolate, which contrasts nicely with the sweet fondant.
