Although I've probably eaten dozens, if not hundreds, of Milky Ways in my life, I still had to do a little research before attempting to recreate the famed candy bar. What exactly is in the center of this thing? Turns out Milky Ways are filled with a light chocolate nougat, topped by caramel and covered in chocolate. My Silky Way bars use several shortcut ingredients, like marshmallow cream and prepared caramels, to make your candy bar preparations quick and easy. The resulting bars have a soft and--dare I say--silky caramel layer, and a lighter-than-air marshmallowy nougat with a distinctive chocolate taste.
