Nutter Butter Truffles

The Oreo cookie truffles I blogged about yesterday inspired me to think about all of the cookie-related candy possibilities. If Oreo crumbs made an awesome candy base, why wouldn't other cookies be equally good? Thus Nutter Butter Truffles were born. I used a mixture of cream cheese and peanut butter to hold together the cookie crumbs, so that they would have that irresistible cream cheese tang, but also a decent hit of peanut butter flavor. I might have a slight preference for the Oreo version (since I adore anything chocolate) but the Nutter Butter balls are pretty darn tasty, too.
