To be entirely honest, I don't know how Martha Washington Candies got their name. The common myth is that this candy originates from a recipe in one of Martha Washington's cookbooks, but I can't vouch for that information. However, I can vouch for the fact that these little treats are tasty. These chocolate-dipped creams are incredibly simple to make, and the combination of roasted pecans and sweet coconut is delicious and sophisticated.
