Like many other bloggers, I'm a little obsessed with Pinterest. Okay, I'm a lot obsessed. I love being able to visually browse the internet, and I'm constantly inspired by the recipes, crafts, and art that people post there. It's also fun to try and spot emerging trends. One big trend that I've noticed in desserts? Cookie dough! I've seen cookie dough cheesecake, pies, pops, and brownies, to name just a few. Obviously the world is cookie dough crazy.

I decided to take a cue from Pinterest and join the cookie dough party with this recipe for Cookie Dough Fudge. This is exactly what it sounds like: a rich chocolate fudge filled with chunks of real chocolate chip cookie dough! The dough is made without eggs, so it's completely safe to enjoy raw and to store for several weeks. The combination of smooth fudge and cookie dough balls tastes great, and it's really fun to cut into the chocolate fudge and see a beautiful cross-section of cookie dough. So thank you, Pinterest, for the idea. I'll be back for more soon!
