Lately I'm all about culinary laziness. Of course, I don't want people to think I'm lazy, so I lie and say I'm all about "time management" and "working smarter, not harder." But between you and me, sheer laziness is my motivating factor. C'mon, it's hot! And I much prefer sitting to standing in the kitchen for hours. So quick and easy cooking is the order of the day.
Speaking of quick and easy, you have to try these Chocolate Butterscotch Clusters. They're an addicting mix of chocolate and butterscotch chips, along with salty peanuts and crispy rice cereal. If you're not using salted peanuts, add a little extra salt to the melted chocolate, since the butterscotch chips make the mixture might sweet...but oh so good. You could also use white chocolate chips instead of butterscotch, or even peanut butter chips if you wanted to intensify the peanut taste. Then sit back, bask in the compliments, and give your lazy self a big ole pat on the back.
