Move over gingerbread, there's a new ginger dessert in town! Gingerbread Caramels have all the flavors of classic gingerbread, in soft, chewy, caramel candy form. In addition to the traditional caramelized sugar and cream, they're made with molasses, ginger, cinnamon, and a heap of other spices. The flavors aren't overpowering, but they're enough to give these smooth caramels a warm and homey taste that's perfect for the autumn and winter months. I like to wrap them individually and tie them with cute string, but you can also make them to use in other recipes, like in Christmas-themed caramel apples.
