Salted Caramel Lollipops

I couldn't resist the caramel lollipop bandwagon forever! I've seen a growing number of caramel lollipops in the past year, and I finally decided to make my own Salted Caramel Lollipops. This lollipop recipe is especially good for beginners, because it takes you through making free-form lollipops without any molds or special equipment.

As for the taste of the lollipops themselves, I added a hefty pinch of sea salt, to intensify the deep caramel flavor, but I bravely resist added crumbled bacon, as a few other companies have done. (You're welcome.) Of course, if you just can't help yourself, try stirring in a few tablespoons of crispy bacon right before you form them. You just might find that it's your new favorite lollipop flavor!
