Divinity

Definition: A candy made from a sugar syrup and egg whites, resulting in a fluffy, creamy confection. Common additions include nuts, dried fruit, chocolate, and flavoring extracts. Divinity can be dropped by the spoonful, or can be spread in a pan and cut into squares once hardened. Divinity that is made with brown sugar instead of white granulated sugar is known as Seafoam.
