Red, White and Blueberry Bark is a simple, refreshing candy perfect for the 4th of July or anytime. Dried blueberries and cranberries lend texture and tartness to smooth white chocolate. Other dried fruits may be substituted.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces white chocolate, finely chopped (or white chocolate chips)
  • 1 cup dried blueberries
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Preparation:

1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil.

2. Melt or temper the chocolate. Pour it onto the baking sheet and tilt the sheet to spread the chocolate in a smooth, thin layer. If necessary, use an offset spatula or knife to achieve the desired thinness.

3. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle dried blueberries and cranberries over the top, and press gently to embed them in the chocolate.

4. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator to set the chocolate. Once it is firm, break the bark into irregular-sized pieces. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
