These Halloween Candy Skewers couldn't be easier: store-bought Halloween candies are arranged on thin skewers in patterns that are as fun to look at as they are to eat! Kids will love making these skewers and then devouring their handiwork.

These skewers are easiest if you use the thinnest wooden skewers you can find, and the softest Halloween candy available. Marshmallows, gummies, and hollow chocolates work well; while I found that mellowcreme pumpkins and similar candies were too hard to successfully skewer.

Ingredients:

  • Soft Halloween candies of your choice (recommendations: marshmallows, gummies, chocolate eyeballs, gumdrops, etc.)
  • Long, thin wooden skewers

Preparation:

1. Remove any packaging from the outside of your candies, and separate them into individual piles.

2. Take one long skewer and begin threading your candies onto it. You can do all one type of candy per skewer, or mix it up and do a variety. Continue until the skewer is full of candy, leaving a few inches at the bottom to make it easy to hold the candy skewer.

3. Repeat until all of your skewers are full of candy, or your candy is completely used up.

4. Use these skewers as a fun activity at a Halloween party or child's birthday party, or use them to decorate a Halloween candy buffet.
