Red White and Blue Gummies are an easy, festive Fourth of July candy recipe. These chewy, flavorful gummies are the perfect warm weather candy, and a great addition to any Independence Day party. Cut them into fun shapes with cookie cutters to make them more festive!

This gummy recipe takes a while because there are chilling periods in between each layer, but most of the time is inactive "resting" time—the actual kitchen time is minimal!

To speed up the process, you can be prepping the ingredients for the other layers while the candy is chilling in the refrigerator.

“Another great July 4th or patriotic holiday dish, these gummies are sure to be a crowd pleaser. I used a mini round cutter which I loved and would be perfect to throw into a berry trifle or include with a toothpick for a themed cocktail. This dish is ready for your creative twist!” —Tracy Wilk

  4. Microwave the bowl for 30 seconds, then whisk well. Microwave for another 30 seconds, then stir. If sugar has dissolved and mixture looks clear, then pour into the prepared pan. If not, microwave for another 10 to15 seconds until all the sugar and gelatin have dissolved. Refrigerate pan to set the gelatin, about 20 minutes.
