How to Make Nougat

Your nougat is now ready to eat! If you will not be serving it immediately, it is a good idea to wrap the pieces in waxed paper so that they do not spread and stick together. Store the nougat in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

- Boil the Sugar Syrup
- Whip the Egg Whites
- Pour Some of the Syrup Into the Whites
- Boil the Syrup to 315 Degrees
- Pour the Rest of the Syrup Into the Egg Whites
- Add Flavoring and Nuts
- Scrape the Nougat Into the Pan
- Cut the Nougat
- Your Nougat is Finished
